General Health Practices for Families

Here’s a general list of health appointments you should make yearly for you and your family! We are running our family like a well oiled machine! EFFORTLESSLY & EFFICIENTLY! This a family business and we rich in love girl!

Women

  1. Primary Care Physician (PCP) – Every Year (general health, blood work, and screenings
  2. Gynecologist – Every Year (Pap smear every 3 years if normal, HPV testing every 5 years, yearly checkups for reproductive health)
  3. Dentist – Twice a year (cleanings, checkups)
  4. Optometrist/Ophthalmologist – Every 1-2 years (annually if vision problems)
  5. Dermatologist – Every Year (skin checks for moles, acne, or skin concerns)
  6. Mammogram Screening – Every Year starting at 40 (family history of breast cancer go earlier)
  7. Mental Health Professional – As needed (for stress, anxiety, depression, or therapy)

Men

  1. Primary Care Physician (PCP) – Annually (for general health, blood work, screenings)
  2. Urologist – As needed. Symptoms like your stream taking long to start, frequent trips to the restroom but only a little coming out. (or annually after age 40 for prostate health)
  3. Dentist – Twice a year (cleanings, checkups)
  4. Optometrist/Ophthalmologist – Every 1-2 years (annually if vision issues)
  5. Dermatologist – Every Year (skin checks for moles, acne, or skin concerns)
  6. Mental Health Professional – As needed (for stress, anxiety, depression, or therapy)


Children (0-18 years)

  1. Pediatrician – Every Year (for growth checks, vaccines, and general health) as an infant, your pediatrician will educate you on appointments needed
  2. Dentist – Twice a year (cleanings, checkups)
  3. Optometrist – Every 1-2 years (or sooner if vision concerns arise)
  4. Dermatologist – As needed (for eczema, acne, or skin concerns)
  5. Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Specialist – If needed (frequent ear infections, breathing issues)
  6. Orthodontist – As needed (typically around age 7+ for potential braces or bite issues)
  7. Mental Health Professional – As needed (for behavioral concerns, anxiety, ADHD, or emotional support)
